Repairs/ Accurizing

Ad Hoc Gunworks is prepared to perform repairs or meet accurizing needs whether for self-defense or competition. This is done by proper tooling and education.    

Sonic Cleaning/ Firearm Transfers

If your 1911 is in need of a thorough cleaning, look no further. Along with a proper breakdown and cleaning of your firearm it will be inspected for replacement parts if needed. As an FFL holder we are prepared to browse numerous vendors if you are looking to add a new 1911 to your collection.

Custom Holsters/ Consulting

If you're having difficulty finding a holster for your specific needs, we are prepared to mold a kydex holster whether it's for IWB or OWB at a reasonable cost. With almost 30 years of experience carrying a firearm in various capacities we are prepared for firearm consulting whether for in the home or out.

As a long-time proprietor of 1911's, I have not only enjoyed owning and working on them, but I have also competed with them. Being prior service with numerous tours I hold the 1911 platform in a prestigious light as it has a long service history.

What are your business hours?

Current business hours are from 9-2 Monday through Thursday. Make an appointment even to just chat about 1911's. Appointment only is a way of providing discretion for individuals purchasing or discussing 1911 needs. 

Are you only providing 1911 pistolsmithing at a local level?

Currently, we are only servicing the 1911 platform to include both double and single stack. Only platform outside of servicing the 1911 are Gen 3 Glocks and clones. For now, I am only serving my hometown community of Fairhope, AL.

Can I get a full refund?

All transactions are final.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We use a Square Point of Sale system. All forms of electronic payment are accepted.
